Canada Super Visa Case Studies

Representative, anonymized case studies describing the type of Canada Super Visa application work IndoWorld handles for parents and grandparents visiting a child or grandchild in Canada. How we document case studies.

SUPER VISA BASICS

About the Canada Super Visa

The Super Visa lets parents and grandparents visit a child or grandchild who is a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or registered Indian, for up to 5 years at a time. IRCC publishes the rules on its own pages: Super Visa overview, who can apply, forms and documents (letter of invitation, health insurance, medical exam), proof of financial support (host income and the minimum income table) and length of stay. For an earlier visitor visa refusal, IRCC has a help centre answer on reapplying.

These case studies describe general situations and the preparation approach, not individual client files. IndoWorld’s guidance follows the guidelines IRCC publishes on its website; the decision on every application rests with IRCC. For stays of 6 months or less, see Canada visitor visa vs Super Visa and the Canada visitor visa page.

Refusal letters and Super Visa reapplications

A Super Visa refusal is a temporary resident visa decision, and its wording can follow the same lines as visitor visa refusals. The visa refusal letter wording guide explains common Canada lines, such as assets and financial situation and not satisfied the applicant will depart Canada. Reapplication after an earlier visitor visa refusal shows how an earlier refusal is read before a Super Visa is considered.

Have a refusal letter in front of you? Clients email their documents, and the review takes place by video call, phone call or in person at the Vadodara office. There is no charge for the review of a refusal: IndoWorld experts read the letter and compare it with the application that was refused. You can start on the visitor / tourist visa refusal letter review page.
